This set of stamps celebrate the centenary of Birds Australia, previously known as the Royal Australasian Ornithologists Union. Beautifully illustrated and rich in detail, the stamps show the birds demonstrating characteristic behaviours – preying, hovering, nurturing and preying. The four species of birds featured in this stamp issue are the Wedge-tailed Eagle, Nankeen Kestrel, Red Goshawk and the Spotted Harrier.
