Malaysia is blessed with a rich culture, arts and heritage; some well represented by the various cultural instruments and artefacts used in daily life and religious activities. This stamp issue feature four of such items. The 30 sen stamps feature the Sireh Junjung (the bettle nut leaf arrangement) and Penggendong Anak (a baby carrier) while the 50 sen stamps feature the Jebak Puyuh (a quail's trap) and Bekas Bara (an amber container).
