Six great navigators who helped put Australia's coastline on the map are being featured in above two special miniature sheets, which were issued to coincide with Melbourne World Stamp Expo – Australia 99. These stamps were first released in 1963-64, and reissued with new denominations in 1966. The six navigators featured are Dampier, King and Bass in the first cover; and Tasman, Cook and Flinders in the second cover.
