Pos Malaysia issued a set of three stamps to celebrate the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia centenary in 2001. This centenary celebration revisited the past, and highlighted the issues and challenges in managing the rainforest. It seeks to raise public awareness on the role and contributions of the department to the nation in managing the rainforest.
