Above stamp issue is part of the Nature of Australia – Coastal series, and is the third issue in the Nature of Australia definitive series. The stamp design is based around the marine life and coastal habitat of Fraser Island, located on the north eastern coast of Australia – the Humpback Whales and Zebra Volute (70c), Brahminy Kite, Checkerboard Helmet Shell and Chambered Nautilus (90 se-tenant), Loggerhead Turtle and Melon Shell (AU$1.05) as well as the White-bellied Sea Eagle and Campbell's Stromb (AU$1.20).
