Since 1980, Australia Post has been issuing an annual Queen's Birthday stamp to coincide with the Queen's real birthday on 21 Apr, although the official celebration takes place in Australia in Jun (Oct in Western Australia). Above stamp features a contemporary photo of the Queen taken in 1996 at the 50th Royal Film Performance of the film True Blue in Leicester Square, London.
