The 2003 Children's Day Celebration brought great significance, as it was the Golden Jubilee celebration of this world event in honouring and cherishing the children of the world. Malaysia had its first World Children's Day celebration on 8th October 1959, held at the National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur. The stamps feature a couple of beautiful drawings on the celebration and children – the place they live, things important to them and some of the activities they engage in.
