The Nature of Australia – Rainforest issue uses flora and fauna of the Daintree Rainforest in the Wet Tropics of North Queensland to illustrate Australia's tropical rainforest habitat. The stamps in this issue continue the Rainforests theme issued in Feb 2003. The stamps feature some of the fauna found in Daintree Rainforest – the Orange-thighed Tree Frog, Green-spotted Triangle Butterfly, Striped Possum and the Yellow-bellied Sunbird.
