Christmas Island Christmas stamps are issued every alternate year and have included Santa Claus in a variety of island settings. The 2005 stamps feature Santa admiring a Christmas Island Palm on the island, decorated with Abbott's Booby and a Red Crab (45c); as well as Santa approaching Christmas Island, the sled being pulled by crabs rather than reindeer (90c).
