From hot air balloons to eagle-powered contraptions, for centuries, man's dream has been to touch the sky. Thanks to pioneering individuals in the early 20th century, flying became possible. Paying tribute to Malaysia's involvement in aviation, this stamp issue showcases a couple of aircrafts from different sectors, each bearing its own significance in history. The aircrafts featured are Shorts SC.7 Skyvan (30 sen), de Havilland Canada DHC 7-110, fondly known as Dash 7 (50 sen) and GAF N22 Nomad (50 sen).
