This set of colourful stamps illustrates some of the unique heritage buildings in Christmas Island, namely the mosque (50c), Tai Pak Kong Temple (AU$1.00), Soon Tian Temple (AU$1.00) and Tai Jin House (AU$1.45). Also known as the Administrator's House, Tai Jin House was added to the Australian Commonwealth Heritage List in 2004. It was previously the official residence for the Administrator of Christmas Island, now a museum.
