Being a multi-racial country, Malaysia is blessed with a rich culture, arts and heritage, some well represented by the various cultural instruments and artefacts. Following the first stamp issue on cultural instruments and artefacts (click here for more details), this second series presents another three instruments and artefacts found in Malaysia – Batu Giling, a stone grinder (30 sen); Supu, a small container used to keep tobacco (50 sen); and Kukur Kelapa, a coconut grater (50 sen triangle). The 50 sen triangle-shaped stamp is something different from the conventional square or rectangle-shaped stamps.
