Frogs or toads, are collectively known as the amphibians. Amphibians are animals that spend part of their lives in water and part of their lives on land. Malaysia is among the top 20 countries with the most amphibian species including frogs and toads. This stamp issue features some of the frog species found in Malaysia – the Brown Tree Toad, also known as Common Tree Toad (30 sen), the Malayan Horned Toad (50 sen) and the Spotted Tree Frog, also known as Cinnamon Frog (50 sen).
