This 2008 Greetings stamp issue features Hello Kitty dressed in elegant Japanese kimonos, such as the 12-layered ceremonial kimono of the ancient times. This stamp issue consists of four round-shaped stamps and an oval-shaped stamp, something different from the conventional square or rectangle-shaped stamps.
