The stamps in this issue feature a photographic image of the koala (AU$1.25) and the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne, Victoria (AU$1.85). The Royal Exhibition Building, built in 1879-80, was the first building in Australia to be awarded UNESCO World Heritage status.
