On 12 Dec 2001, at the 208th (special) Meeting of the Conference of Rulers in Malaysia, Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin, the Sultan of Terengganu, was elected the 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong for a term of five years from 13 Dec 2006 to 12 Dec 2011. His Majesty was formally installed as Yang di-Pertuan Agong on 26 Apr 2007, with the title Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin. Pos Malaysia issued a set of three stamps to commemorate this event, featuring three portraits of His Majesty in the stamps.
