The 2006 FESPIC Games, officially known as the 9th and Final FESPIC Games, was held in Kuala Lumpur from 25 Nov to 1 Dec 2006. It was an Asia Pacific disabled multi-sport event. The game has since defunct, and since then, the Asian Countries participate at the Asian Para Games held after every Asian Games. The stamps in this issue feature some of the sports played in the Games – wheel chair race (30 sen), swimming (50 sen) and wheel chair tennis (RM1.00). The 2006 FESPIC Games logo and mascot (the mousedeer, known locally as Kancil) also appear in each stamp.
