Since 1980, Australia Post has been issuing an annual Queen's Birthday stamp to coincide with the Queen's real birthday on 21 Apr, although the official celebration takes place in Australia in Jun (Oct in Western Australia). 2007 Queen's Birthday stamp issue by Australia Post features an image of the Queen taken while on a visit to Australia with the Duke of Edinburgh for the opening of the XVIII Commonwealth Games in Mar 2006.
