Since 1980, Australia Post has been issuing an annual Queen's Birthday stamp to coincide with the Queen's real birthday in Apr. 2008 Queen's Birthday stamp issue by Australia Post consists of two stamps, featuring a contemporary image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II taken at an official dinner held at Parliament House in Canberra during her visit to Australia in 2006 (50c) and the Sovereign Head of the Order of Australia badge (AU$2.00).
