Celebrating Malaysia and South Korea 50 years of diplomatic relations, which were established on 23 Feb 1960, this joint issue between Pos Malaysia and Post Korea features two species of tigers – the Korean Tiger and the Malayan Tiger. The Korean Tiger is the biggest of the eight tiger subspecies, also the largest living feline. The Malayan Tiger, found only in Peninsular Malaysia, is perhaps the smallest extant subspecies of tiger. Both stamp designs are jointly issued, with the stamps issued by Post Korea are both at a denomination of 250₩.
