An annual stamp issue by Australia Post, this 2008 Christmas stamp issue continues the tradition of Australian Christmas stamps featuring religious subjects. Using a calm, contemplative feeling through visual cues such as circles and arcs, and the use of classical proportions based on the Golden Mean in the stamp design, the stamps feature the baubles (50c), Madonna and Child (50c), the angel (55c) and the Wise Men (AU$1.20).
