This stamp issue, part of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Conservation Stamp Collection, features four species of dolphin that have been sighted in Australian waters. The WWF Conservation Stamp Collection is the world's largest thematic stamp collection. As featured in the stamps are the Spotted Bottlenose Dolphin (55c), Hourglass Dolphin (AU$1.35), Southern Right Whale Dolphin (AU$1.40) and the Dusky Dolphin (AU$2.05). All stamps carry the WWF logo in its design, signifying part of the WWF Conservation Stamp Collection.
