This 2009 Greetings stamp issue illustrates the story of Hello Kitty writing a letter to her boyfriend, Dear Daniel, for the first time. The stamps feature Hello Kitty writing a letter, Hello Kitty entrusting the letter to a bird, Hello Kitty lost in thought, Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel receiving a letter, Hello Kitty holding a letter (round-shaped stamp) as well as Hello Kitty and a bird (heart-shaped stamp).
