Hong Kong enjoys a rich cultural landscape, boasting museums of various kinds with a wide array of magnificent exhibits. Hongkong Post issued its first set of "Hong Kong Museums Collection" stamps in 2009 on the theme of Chinese calligraphy and painting. Taking a trip down memory lane, this second set of stamps in this series issued in 2011 features six treasures from the various museums in Hong Kong – the Sequined Reversible Palace Costume (HK$2.50) and the Forehead Headdress (HK$1.40) from Hong Kong Heritage Museum; the Green Glazed Barrel for Herbal Tea (HK$3.00) from Dr & Mrs Hung Hin Shiu Museum of Chinese Medicine; the Silver Footed Bowl Decorated in Repousse (HK$2.40) from Hong Kong Museum of Art; as well as the Qipao (HK$1.80) and the Baby Carrier with Head Support (HK$5.00) from Hong Kong Museum of History.
