This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia on Malaysian currency was supposed to be released in Dec 2009, but was eventually postponed to Jan 2010. The wording "Malaysia 2009" was printed on the stamps; the first day issue cancellation was dated 18 Jan 2010. This is the second time Malaysia postal authority has released round-shaped stamps; the first was released back in 1971. The stamps feature obverse (front face) and reverse (back face) of the 50 sen, 20 sen and 10 sen coins. The coins featured are from the second series of sen coins which entered circulation in late 1989.
