New Year countdown is a popular practice in many parts of the world to welcome the coming of a new year. The final seconds into a new year is usually accompanied by the deafening sounds of firework. Fireworks have become the symbol of new year celebration and hence, Thailand Post has once again used fireworks in its 2012 New Year stamps design. The spectacular fireworks in the stamps are heightened with Glitter Ink printing technique which adds sparkles to the stamps.
