This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia can be licked (no pun intended) but cannot be eaten. Malaysia is a unique country with various races and a myriad of ethnic groups from Sabah and Sarawak, that is rich with various religions, cultures and customs. This can be seen on the wide variety of food dishes served during festive celebrations, which vary in terms of cooking style, taste and decoration. The stamps in this issue feature culinary treasures served during Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and festivals celebrated by the Sabah and Sarawak ethnic groups. Another set of stamps, which is the mirror image of above stamps, are available in stamp sheet format, also valued at 80 sen denomination.
