Rabbit is the fourth sign of the Chinese zodiac. In traditional Chinese culture, the Rabbit is a symbol of agility, kind and quick-witted. Famous people born in the Year of the Rabbit include Albert Einstein, Michael Jordan, David Beckham, Charlize Theron, Maria Sharapova and Jet Li. Four different breeds of cuddly rabbits are being featured in this quadruple set of stamp issue. Five-colour printing is used to capture the gradation of light and shade, thus highlighting the rabbits against a background of silver foliage.
