The Post and Telegraph School was established on 22 Feb 1889 to produce personnel for Thailand's post and telegraph services. The teaching focused on "work training", allowing students to learn by practicing and performing the real work environment. The school subsequently changed its name to The Posts and Telecommunications School under the Communications Authority of Thailand (CAT) and eventually the Postal School under Thailand Post Co. Ltd. Commemorating the school's 125th anniversary in 2014, the single stamp in this stamp issue features images of postal students, and early days as well as present days school buildings in the background.
