Kasetsart University was established in 1918 as a training school for primary-level teachers in farming, and is the first university that offers agricultural curriculum in Thailand. The training school was expanded and became Kasetsart College and eventually Kasetsart University. The university supports education, research, academic service, management and provide research centre, fieldwork station for students and Kasetsart Veterinary Teaching Hospital. This stamp issue by Thailand Post, to commemorate the university's 72nd anniversary in 2015, features the main hall of Bangkhen campus.
