This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia celebrates the coronation of HRH Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar as the 25th Sultan of Johor. Born on 22 Nov 1958, Sultan Ibrahim was groomed from young to be a respectable and knowledgeable ruler. Following the footsteps of his forefathers, he participated in military and civilian training to establish a foundation for resilience, discipline and character building. Tunku Ibrahim was appointed heir and proclaimed as the Crown Prince on 3 Jul 1981. When his father Sultan Iskandar died, Tunku Ibrahim ascended to the throne on 23 Jan 2010. The crowning ceremony took place on 23 Mar 2015. The stamps in this issue feature three royal portraits of HRH Sultan Ibrahim.
