This third stamp issue by Pos Malaysia in 2015 features some of the common farm animals. Malaysian village landscape is filled with colourful flora and diverse fauna, which often consists of a wide variety of domestic animals. Amongst the most frequently found domestic animals in villages, as featured in this stamp issue, include geese (60 sen), water buffalo (80 sen) and chicken (RM1.20). These animals serve various purposes including as beasts of burden as well as a source of nourishment.
