This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia, on the International Cooperative Project on Giant Panda Conservation, aims to promote greater awareness on conservation works and on the importance of wildlife and biodiversity sustainability. A hit among visitors at Zoo Negara, the stamps in this issue feature Xing Xing 兴兴 (means prosperity) and Liang Liang 靓靓 (means pretty). These two adorable pandas, previously known as Fu Wa and Feng Yi, are on loan in Malaysia for 10 years to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Malaysia and China.
