In conjunction with ASEAN Day and the 48th anniversary of ASEAN in 2015, the ten nations within ASEAN jointly issued this stamp, all using a common design to reflect the "oneness" of the community. The stamp and postmark design was chosen from the ASEAN stamp design contest held earlier in 2015, where ultimately Vietnam won the competition. The stamp features ASEAN Member States' flags unified in a form of flower, with the pigeon in the background symbolising the pacific aspect of the region. The handshake below the flags portray friendship and the golden ears of rice refer to basic agriculture, the main ASEAN way of life. The stamp is jointly released in each nation at these denominations – Brunei at 60 sen, Cambodia at 1,200 ៛, Indonesia at 7,000 Rp, Laos at 13,000 ₭, Malaysia at 50 sen, Myanmar at 100 K, Philippines at 13 ₱, Singapore at 60c, Thailand at 15 baht and Vietnam at 3,000 ₫.
