New Year stamps, to herald the upcoming brand new year, are issued annually by Thailand Post. This set of stamps, to herald New Year 2015, is derived from the imagination to transform various shapes of famous flowers from different countries into fantasy-like flowers. The five stamps in this first collection, i.e. Series I, are to be used for domestic mail. As featured in the stamps, roses are transformed into a beautiful head ornament, orchid is transformed into a musician, daisies are transformed into colourful balloons, lotus is transformed into a fairy and morning glory is transformed into a girl holding a yellow chrysanthemum.
