This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia, in conjunction with 2012 World Post Day, features the various uniforms worn by postmen in Malaysia over the past 60 years, from the colonial era until the modern times. Paying tribute to postmen who had served the nation over the past six decades, the stamps feature the durable khaki worn in the 1950s (60 sen), the brown-coloured uniforms in the 1970s (80 sen) and the later blue uniforms (RM1.00). The Universal Postal Union's logo also appears on the stamp designs to commemorate World Post Day celebration.
