A joint effort between Pos Malaysia and RHB Banking Group, this stamp issue celebrates RHB's 100 years of banking excellence in 2013. Kwong Yik (Selangor) Banking Corporation was incorporated in 1913, later merged with DCB Bank in 1997 to form RHB Bank Berhad. In 1999, RHB Bank Berhad merged with Sime Bank Berhad to form RHB Banking Group. In 2003, Bank Utama merged into RHB Banking Group. The rhombus-shaped stamps in this issue chronicle the bank's centennial celebration, and include images of its first branch located at Old Market Square, the launch of the Kwong Yik Bank headquarters, its first ATM service known as the "BOSS" and the RHB Banking Group present day headquarters.
