This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia on roses coincides with Valentine's Day in 2014. Was it on purpose or merely a coincidence? Nevertheless, the rose stamp collection series has been issued as a way to encourage the public to appreciate handwritten cards and letters, sealed with meaningful stamp(s) on the envelope, something most of us have stopped doing for a long time. This second series of rose-themed stamp issue features three species of beautiful roses – Hybrid Tea Rose (60 sen), Grandiflora Rose (70 sen) and English Rose (RM1.20).
