The Rukun Negara, Malaysian's declaration of national philosophy, was proclaimed on 31 Aug 1970 during the 13th Independence Day celebration. The aim of the Rukun Negara is to create harmony and unity among the various races in Malaysia. Pos Malaysia issued a set of stamps in 2020 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rukun Negara in the year.  Each design in the non-miniature sheet issue highlights one of the five pillars of Rukun Negara, while the miniature sheet (above) is printed with a die-cut and gold-stamped finish, signifying the Golden Jubilee celebration of the Rukun Negara.
