2020 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Mongolia, a significant milestone both countries have built. Over the years, Singapore and Mongolia enjoy a warm relationship with good collaborations. Celebrating this close diplomatic relation, Singapore Post and Mongol Post jointly release a stamp issue featuring exquisite and iconic artworks of both countries – a Peranakan table cover from Singapore's Peranakan Museum collection and an Ulzii (also known as the Eternal Knot) embroidery found on a traditional Mongolian cup bag. Both stamp designs are jointly issued, with the stamps issued by Mongol Post are both at a denomination of 1,300 ₮.
