Singapore and Pakistan share a friendly and sincere bilateral and diplomatic relationship, which was established on 17 Aug 1966. 2016 marks the 50th anniversary of Singapore and Pakistan bilateral and diplomatic relationship. To commemorate this significant milestone, Singapore Post and Pakistan Post jointly issued this set of stamps, featuring the national flowers of both countries – Vanda Miss Joaquim for Singapore and Jasmine for Pakistan. Both stamp designs are jointly issued, with the stamps issued by Pakistan Post are both at a denomination of 8 ₨.
