Blowpipe is a long-range weapon and unique tool used by some of the indigenous communities in Malaysia for hunting as well as in open combat. This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia, showcasing blowpipe, aims to highlight this weapon of art and survival to future generations as well as collectors. Blowpipe craftsmen were highly regarded in the indigenous communities in the olden days as they could create an artistic yet functional tool. The stamps in this issue features Sumpit Orang Asli (Orang Asli blowpipe),  Sumpit Etnik Dayak (Dayak blowpipe) found in Sarawak and Sumpit Etnik Murut (Murut blowpipe) found in Sabah.
