Chung Ling High School is a secondary school in Malaysia, located in George Town, Pulau Pinang. Chung Ling High School was founded on 9 Feb 1917 as a primary school and formed its junior high department in 1923, making it the first Chinese high school in Malaya. Celebrating the 100th anniversary of Chung Ling High School in 2017, the stamps in this issue feature the three Chung Ling school buildings – Chung Ling High School (85 sen), Chung Ling Private School (95 sen) and Chung Ling Butterworth School (RM1.05). The school's bell-shaped logo is included at bottom left of each stamp, and the school's theme "Ai Wu Zhong Ling" 爱吾锺靈 (Chinese Simplified : 爱吾钟灵) (Love My Chung Ling) shown faintly in the background.
