Malaysia is a country rich in cultural diversities, be it in festivities, cultural heritage or delicacies. Celebrating this diversity, this stamp issue features festive greetings of the three major festivals celebrated in Malaysia, presented in beautiful calligraphic of each race – Vaalthukal Deepavali (Deepavali Greetings) in Tamil, Gong He Xin Xi (Happy New Year) in Chinese and Selamat Hari Raya greetings written in khat thuluth (thuluth is a script variety of Islamic calligraphy).
