Stamp issues featuring trains have always been a popular theme worldwide. This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia features the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), issued in conjunction with the opening of Phase 2 of the MRT Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line, the first of the three Klang Valley MRT projects to be completed. The four stamps in this issue feature the MRT feeder bus and MRT train (60 sen se-tenant), the elevated MRT stations (80 sen) and an MRT train with passengers (90 sen).
