Pos Malaysia issued this set of stamps, the "Negaraku" stamp series, to celebrate 2017 Malaysia Day. The stamps feature the winning drawings from the Negaraku Art Competition organised by the National Art Gallery which was held in schools nationwide during May 2017. The four stamps in this issue depict the spirit of muhibah or unity among the multi-ethnic races of Malaysia, also a reminder of the struggles to achieve the birth of a great nation and its future through the eyes of children.
