Wildflowers are plants commonly found along streets, roads, highways and the edges of forests, and tend to adapt and thrive well in newly adopted environments. After almost three decades since the last stamp issue on wildflowers, Pos Malaysia's wildflowers stamp series made a comeback in 2020. This third series of the stamp issue features four species of wildflowers – three stamps in the non-miniature sheet issuance, and one stamp in the miniature sheet. The miniature sheet features the Simpoh Air flower, that is known to grow in wet areas. Interestingly, the flower begins to bloom at 3 AM, and by the end of the day, they drop their petals. Printed with a die-cut and spot UV finishing, this has further accentuated the beauty of the flower on the stamp.
