This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia is released in conjunction with the International Tiger Day which falls on 29 Jul 2019, as well as with the aim to promote awareness on the conservation of wildlife in Malaysia. Five highly protected wildlife species in Malaysia are being featured in this stamp issue – the Asian Elephant, Malayan Sun Bear and the Pangolin, which are available in above cover; and the Malayan Tiger and Sumatran Rhino, which are available in miniature sheet format.
