They tend to be active, amusing and at the centre of attraction. Famous people born in the Year of the Rooster include Beyoncé, Roger Federer, Matt Damon, Anna Kournikova, Cate Blanchett and Elton John. This stamp issue is part of Singapore Post's zodiac stamp series that began in 2008 with the Rat. The stamps feature graphical illustrations of the rooster in all three stamps.
