The Citizens' Consultative Committees (CCCs), formed in 1965 by Singapore's Founding Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, have played critical roles in Singapore's history and nation building through promoting racial harmony and social cohesion. Today, CCCs continue to be a vital link between the government and the people, with the aim of improving the lives of all Singaporeans. Celebrating CCCs' 50th anniversary in 2015, the stamps in this issue are based on winning designs from the Stamp Design Competition jointly organised by People Association (PA) and Singapore Post in Apr 2015.
